Deep Seek R1 and Reasoning Flows
Jesse discussed DeepSeek's R1 release aligning with Roko's parallel processing and reasoning flow development. The team has been exploring chain-of-thought processing, retrieval-augmented thinking (RAT), and implementation patterns with available inference nodes.
Multi-Model Consensus
The architecture enables querying multiple models simultaneously for the same task, collecting responses, and deriving consensus. Jesse compared this to consulting a panel of doctors with different training data and strengths. Parallel processing becomes viable with multiple Hydra network inference servers.
Hydra Node Client Architecture
Jesse detailed the centralized-first approach. Users access a dashboard, configure service offerings (Ollama, Whisper, Piper, timing network), and download pre-configured client software. The client connects via WebSockets to the Roko host with SSL encryption.
Service Diversity
Beyond LLM inference, nodes can offer speech-to-text, text-to-speech, timing synchronization, vector databases, or custom Docker containers. Users could run Genesis reinforcement learning environments as services, creating a comprehensive distributed compute ecosystem.
Hardware Security Modules
